CALIFORNIA CONCEAL CARRY WEAPON PERMIT TRAINING:

This is an approved CCW training course required by the Ventura County Sheriff Department (VCSD). Students will learn the required training in firearm safety, and the permissible use of a firearm. 

Ventura County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) policy titled "Carry Concealed Weapons License (CCW)", is hereby revised and re-adopted as of January 10, 2024, by Sheriff Jim Fryhoff and shall constitute the policy and practices of the VCSO relating to licenses and applications for licenses to carry firearms under Cal. Penal Code § 26150, et seq. mandates new license applicants, the course shall be no less than 16 hours in length. For license renewal applicants, the course shall be no less than 8 hours in length.  Licensed CCW holders are mandated every 2 years to renewal the permit. 

A certificate of satisfactory completion will be issued to students who demonstrate the knowledge and proficiency required by the practical test and the written test. 

Only private (1:1, or group) instruction is available. Training dates and time will be based on your availability. In some cases we can bring the training to you.
